1 What is regression ？

回归是预测一个连续值的过程。

2 What is a regression model?

举个例子：根据发动机大小和气缸的数量预测Co2的排放量。

3 Types of regression models

回归的模型分类
（1）Simple regression

• Simple Linear Regression
• Simple Non-linear Regression
• 举例：预测Co2的排放量与发动机的大小的关系

（2）Multiple Regression

• Multiple Linear Regression
• Multiple Non-linear Regression
• 举例： 预测Co2的排放量约发动机大小以及气缸数量的关系

4 Applications of regression

回归算法的应用
（1）Sales forecasting销售量的预测

（2）Satifaction analysis满意度的预测

（3）Price estimation 价格的预测

（4）Employment income工资的预测
可以通过工作时间，教育、性别、职业、年龄、工作经验等等独立的变量进行预测。

5 Regression algorithms

回归算法有以下9种
（1）Ordinal regression

（3）Fast forest quantile regression

（4）Linear 、Plynomial、Lasso、Stepwise、Ridge regression
