This chapter briefly introduces how to import animation from Animcraft to Maya character.
Instructions**
- Open Maya 2016 or above version(Maya 2018 and above version are highly recommended),
- Load Animcraft plugin.
Load Plugin
- The Animcraft menu will show up after loading the plugin.

- Download the example files for Maya: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1jnT3ecNOKGmFzoY9zAhCu9utN2J2jyoC/view?usp=sharing
- Open the AdvancedSkeletonSampleRig.ma sample file.
- Select any part of the character, Open Animcraft > Controller Mapping Editor to open the mapping window.
- You might notice this character is mapped and the signal on the left upper corner is orange.
- In most of cases, you need to resume your character to standard pose like T-Pose or A-Pose. Here you can skip this step because the sample character is already in standard pose.
- Click Match button in Mapping Window, the system will do some preparation works for importing the animation, the signal on the left upper corner turns green.
- Back to Animcraft main window, select any one of the animation resources.
- Right-click on the MAYA button on the right lower corner in Animcraft Main Window and expand the Maya instances list.
- Select the one which you want the resource to import in. The MAYA button will turn into the Maya20## button. That indicates the Animcraft and a specific Maya instance has been connected.
- In Maya, make sure to select any part of the target character, and set the start frame which the animation begins to import.
- In Animcraft Main Window, left-click the Maya20## button to import animation.
- Back to the Maya window, there is a frame range confirm dialog,
- The animation will be imported according to the frame range.
