    Instructions

    1. Load Animcraft for Maya plugin.
    2. Open Controller Mapping Window and make sure you’re in the import modeimage.png
    3. Make sure all your character’s primary controllers are mapped correctly. (See Mapping Biped Rigged Character)
    4. Click TPose button and resume the character to default T-Pose (This step can guarantee the animation can be imported accurately)
    5. Click Match and our system will calculate the offset
    6. Click and select an animation you want to import in Animcraft. (See Animcraft Main Window)
    7. (One time only) Right-click the green Maya button in the right bottom corner of the Animcraft, select one running Maya you want to work with.
    8. Left-click Maya button to import your animation
    9. Confirm the frame range and click continue (You can cancel the importing if you’re not set up start frame correctly)
    10. (Optional) Select if you want to optimize every frame to keyframe after importing.

    Tip
    If you’re using Advanced Skeleton, there might be an issue, if your character appears like the below image, with some weird error, it might be caused by the Maya DG system.

    Now we can turn off the Parallel computing to resolve this issue. Open panel from Maya: Windows > Settings/Preferences > Preferences
