Save Your Projects to the Cloud

Codecraft allows you to save your projects to the cloud just by clicking on the Save button near program’s title. Then you will face one of the following scenarios:

1. You have an account

If you have a Codecraft account, you just need to fill in your account name and passwords in the pop-up window then click save.

2. You do not have an account

You do not have an account, you need to register first. Codecraft Login and Registration.
After that, you can click save. You can access projects you saved anytime anywhere in the cloud by clicking My Projects.

Additionally, you can set the basic information of your personal account by clicking Settings.

Save sprites, backdrops and sounds uploaded in stage mode to the cloud

If you are not satisfied with the default sprites, backdrops and sounds when coding in Codecraft stage mode, you can upload a customized one and save it to your cloud account.

1. Upload a sprite and save it to the cloud

Prepare a sprite image smaller than 512k. For example, here we have an image of Super Mario.

Click the plus sign in the bottom left of the stage mode interface

Then you will see the page for adding sprites. Click My Sprite—Upload to upload the image of Super Mario saved in the Downloads.

Select Super Mario in the pop-up window and click open.

Now you can see this image in My Sprite.

When you click the image you will go back to the Scripts area to write code for this sprite.

You can see the added sprites in My Sprite, which means they have been saved to the cloud.

2. Upload a backdrop and save it to the cloud

Besides uploading a sprite you like in stage mode, you can also upload a backdrop you like to the cloud. The operation is basically the same as uploading a sprite. Note that you need to click the plus sign as shown below to add a backdrop.

3. Upload a sound and save it to the cloud

Codecraft also has a method for users to upload a sound. The operation is basically the same as uploading a sprite or a backdrop. Note that you can choose Record to create a new sound.
