New Year’s Eve
I was super excited, when it was New Year’s Eve. I was at my grandma’s house. My little brother and I got to see the fireworks at my grandma’s house. The fireworks were very colorful and loud. My little brother is sometimes silly, which makes me laugh a lot.
The loud fireworks made me jump, but my little brother just watched them. We also like to watch TV. On New Year’s Eve my brother and I watched the New Year’s parade. The parade was very colorful, very loud, and a very long.
It’s a
tradition here in China to jump over a fire on New Year’s Eve, it brings good
luck.
Then I
hung some lanterns on tree branches. Some the branches were little, some were
big. The garden as glimmering with red lights from the lanterns.
We had a wonderful New Year.
外教老师点评：
Judith write well and expresses her ideas, but needs to focus on adding more in depth details when writing. She also needs to work more on using articles, modifiers and conjunctions. She also needs to practice more on using tenses, esp past tenses. Her spelling also needs to be fine tunes, but due to her age, this too will improve as she gets old and with more practice.
