- Bed
- Re-render
Bed
Object
- File // Import Input/Binaural/Re-Render Config
- File // Export Input/Binaural/Re-Render Config
当导入一个.atmosIR文件时,用户可以选择“apply the file to Input Only(仅导入输入配置)”、“ Input and Binaural Render Mode(导入输入配置和双耳渲染模式)”、“Re-Renders.(导入再渲染的配置)”。
What are .atmosIR files and what can they be used for?
An .atmosIR file is a type of config file used by our Atmos Renderer that can be exported/imported. It contains:
- input configuration:
- inputs dedicated to bed(s)
- width of bed(s)
- inputs dedicated to objects
- group creation and naming
- bed and object assignment to groups
- input descriptions
- re-render definitions:
- name
- width
- properties
- fullmix
- beds only
- objects only
- custom – using the group definitions and assignments
- binaural renderer mode settings:
- populated from the input configuration but also includes:
- on/off and distance settings per input (objects or individual bed channels– off, near, mid, far).
.atmosIR files are used with Renderer functions:
- File/Import Input/Binaural/Re-Render Config
- File/Export Input/Binaural/Re-Render Config
When importing a .atmosIR file the user can choose to apply the file to Input Only, Input and Binaural Render Mode and/or to the Re-Renders.
The predecessor to the Atmos.IR file used prior to Renderer v3.x was the .rmuio file type. These contained the input and re-render info but not the binaural renderer mode settings. Older
.rmuio files can still be imported into v3.x.
All the information in the .atmosIR file is also saved in the master .atmos file. But the separate .atmosIR file is useful for setting up the renderer to work with a new master and making sure the Input Configuration matches the output configuration of Pro Tools (which is saved with the Pro Tools session or separately as .pio file). Setting the Renderer up from scratch with non-default settings can be labor intensive so .atmosIR files can speed things up considerably especially if the same configurations are used repeatedly i.e. with the same custom Pro Tools template for every episode in a series etc. Importing a ADM.wav into Pro Tools as session data and loading a corrsponding .atmos.IR to the Renderer means you can start working right away.
The .atmosIR is a separate config file from the .atmoscfg which contains Renderer room setup info, output assignments, gain, eq, custom monitor layouts etc
