The goal of this project is for translators to use the provided full/direct title translation to rewrite the translation in terms of 2 parts: “Theme” and “Selling Points” - these are names given to the first and second parts of the rewritten translation.
Theme refers to the most key information in the title that customers are highly likely to use in searches. The remaining information in the title will then be placed in the Selling Points portion. There are limitations to the length of texts that can be put inside Theme (45 characters, including space) and Selling Points (208 characters).
Since the full translation of the whole title is already provided, translators need to select words and phrases from this full translation in order to create the phrases for the Theme and Selling Points. Retranslating information from the source text is only necessary when there are elements in the full translation that were wrongly translated.
Both source and full translation text should also be refered to to know what information to exclude or include in the Theme & Selling Points, as described in this guide. Note that text from both Theme and Selling Points together will form the new rewrite translation. The final rewrite translation will be the concatenation of the Theme text and Selling Points text, separated by a comma.
    Example:

Note: Translators do not need to add commas between Theme & Selling Points (this will be automatically generated after submissions).
The following are points that need to be applied for the project, for both Theme and Selling Points portions.
    1. **
    a. Promotional, logistics & transactional information should not be included in Theme and Selling Point. These include words like “COD”, “hot sale”, “fast delivery”, “free gift”, etc.
    b. If there are non-English and non-Vietnamese words in the full title translation (that come from the source sentence), these should be excluded from Theme and Selling Points.
    c. Terms which are not found in the source sentence should not be included in the Theme and Selling Points. The Theme & Selling Points must not contain more instances of the product phrase (or other attributes) than the number of instances found in the source title. If there is no product phrase in the full source title or its full translation, the Theme or Selling Points cannot have the product phrase translation.
    d. Regarding repeated terms:
    - When the source title contains a repetition of identical terms or phrases, the repeated term should only appear once in the whole Theme & Selling Points. If the full title translation contains repeated terms in Vietnamese, only one appearance of it should be seen in the Theme & Selling Points.
    - If the source contains different expressions for the same referent (e.g. ‘racing bike’, ‘MTB’, ‘mountain bike’) and the target also has 3 different translations for these, then all the 3 expressions found in the full title translation should be included – the most suitable one in Theme and the rest Selling Points. Ordering of the product terms in Selling Point should be logical and not confusing.
    e. Common evaluative adjective and phrases found in the full title translation which are not important to the product, like ‘beautiful’, ‘nice’, ‘comfy’, ‘high quality’, should not be included in Theme & Selling Points, especially when other more concrete attributes exist in the title. Note that not all adjective words are evaluative. In phrases like ‘fast charging’, ‘true wireless’, ‘fast’ and ‘true’ is not subjective as it is part of a term that refers to specification of the product.
    f. There should not be commas added in the Theme section.

    1. **
Section 1 list of what information should be excluded for Theme & Selling Points must be applied when preparing Theme translation. Besides excluding those information, translators must also select the words and phrases from the full title translation provided to be used to create the Theme phrase.

    *

    Common-Product-Term + Product-Brand + Product-Model/Series + Major-Function + Major-Technology

If store/seller name and brand name is indistinguishable, treat that name as Brand.
    *

    Variant-Product-Term (if any) + Specifications/Capacity + Other-Technology + Major-Feature/Material/Color + Compatible-Brand-Info + Target-user/Target-Occasion + Other-Description + SellerStore-Name

Specifications (for standard products) inlcudes, size, volume, weight, capacity of components like RAM, CPU details, etc. * Target-user for Std. Product includes age group.

    Non-Standard Products
    Important note:
Under Non-Standard Products, translators will notice that some titles are selling products namely gadgets, electronics, spare parts, and electrical appliances. These should be treated following Standard Products rules above.
The other non-Standard products can follow the guide below:
    Theme (45 character limit)
    Common-Product-Term + Brand/Model/Series + Season + Major-Feature + Target-User

Target-user has higher priority to be in the Theme for non-Std products.
If store/seller name and brand name is indistinguishable, treat that name as Brand.
*Season (spring/summer/winter/autumn, etc) is only for products related to fashion.
    Selling Points (208 character limit)

    Variant-Product-Term (if any) + Other-Major-Feature (e.g. design/material/pattern/style) + Occasion + Color + Specifications + Other-Description + SellerStore-Name

Occasion includes place, activity, & time of use (e.g. ‘gym’, ‘Christmas’, ‘wedding’, ‘outdoor’, etc)
Specifications (for non-standard products) inlcudes compatible brands/models, size, volume, weight, age group, technology, voltage/wattage, dimensions, etc.
*Other descriptions may include quantity, place of origin, year.

    Additional Component Notes:
    · Common-Product-Term – the most suitable term found in the direct_translation that refers to the product, and also the most likely term used by user searches.
    · Variant-Product-Term – other ways to refer to the product if present in direct_translation and srcText. If there is more than 1 variant product term, you can arrange it in the Selling Point appropriately. Repeated terms should typically not be present in the combination translation of Theme & Selling Points.
    · Compatible-Product – brands/model/series of compatible products. For example, the bold words in the following are compatible product information: ‘iPhone case’, ‘Hyson ink catridge for Brother’, ‘Nmax baggage rack’, etc. (note that compatible brand is different from Product-Brand).
    · Other-Descriptions: These need to be considered, which are more relevant to retain or remove when the Selling Point limit is reached.

    3. **
    · The phrasing of the whole Theme should also be clear, fluent and not confusing. If the recommended sequence of information in the Theme is not grammatical, translators must adjust the Theme phrase accordingly
    · It is important to compare with the source sentence how many times an identical term/word appears is mentioned. There cannot be more instances in the Theme + Sell Points than there are instances in the source title.
    · Once the relevant information are identified according to the priority list and what is present in the title, please ensure information the Sell Points are translated fluently and accurately.
    · Commas and prepositions can be used appropriately to make the Sell Points translation more fluent, DO NOT overuse
