I’m so glad to have this chance to meet you all here.
I’m very excited to meet so many top level psychologists here today and I have been dreaming for this moment for years
and i desire to continue my academic life here

My name is and I’m from city, a beautiful city with a long history.
毕业学校：
- I graduated (with honor) from ___university with a major in psychology.
- I got my banchelor’s degreee in psychology from _ university

Since all the basic information is on my resume, I’d like to point out something specifically。

选择本专业/学校的原因
I chose psychology as my major because I have been so curious about how human mind functions and how emotions works with such a sophisticated biological machine，which is human brain， since I graduated from high school。Back to then I thought psychology should be full of magic and awesomeness，which is not ture.
But after I got in college and started to learn psychology, it attracted me so much greater than it did ever before because of its scientific methods， amazingly logical experiments and psychological scales with high reliability and validity

有益经历

志愿者经历：
Then I once worked in a mental hospital as a volunteer, which made me more determined to research human emotions in the future， especially how human emotions would affect our behaviors.

Last but not least, I helped/assisted some of my friends with their researches and graduation thesises about the statistic analysis part

Sicne I have been concerned with patriotism emotions, I did my capstone thesis on this and eventually find out that it‘s influenced by several factors such as gender，and also identity to traditional culture.

从中学到了什么
What I got from writing my thesis is not the knowledge itself, but also the deligience we should have in front of difficulties，problems and obstacles in our way to success.
Whats more，i feel so satisfied when i draw conclusions from well-designed experiments and precise statistical datas。
And the most improtant thing is to enjoy the process of doing research.
