Magento Setup Tool is a import tool for extension installation and upgrade, you can use it complete the following tasks

If you want to use Setup Tool and Magento Marketplace’s resources, you should get your Access Keys first

Generate the Access Keys from Marketplace

  1. Go to your Magento Marketplace account page.
  2. Click the Marketplace tab., then under My Products, click My Access Keys.

  3. On the Magento 2 tab, click Create a New Access Key.

    Marketplace Connection

  4. Log in to the Admin of your Store as the primary Admin user, go to Admin Sidebar->System->Tools->Web Setup Wizard.

  5. Click the tab “System Config”, then fill in the Access Key from Magento Marketplace

  6. Save Config, if no error for your Key, connection is successfu for you like below
