Publishing

You can publish an extension after developing it. After being approved and successfully published, the extension is provided on mBlock 5, allowing other users to understand and use it.

mBlock 5 Extension Builder allows you to create three types of extensions, namely devices, device extensions, and sprite extensions. For details, see “What types of extensions can you develop with mBlock 5 Extension Builder?“

Publish a device

1. Choose Publish Service > Device Management and click Publish new device.

1. In the dialog box that appears, enter the name or ID of the device to be published, select the project, and click OK.

Publish a device extension or sprite extension

1. Choose Publish Service > Extension Management and click Publish new extension.

1. In the dialog box that appears, enter the name or ID of the extension to be published, select the project, and click OK.

View the publishing status of a device or extension

On the Device Management or Extension Management page, click a device or extension.
Information about the publishing of the device or extension is listed.
