1.Darren, looking at your profile - assuming you will be using this for business not just hobby. I have 6 machines, the last two of which are thunders and I can tell you the thunders were the only two machines that I opened the crate and started engraving. No beam alignment, no bed leveling, no messing around, they just worked. Of my 6 machines, 2 are basicaly paperweights after trying for months to get consistent results out of them and the other two (g wieke and bodor) work ok, but still lack all the great features of the thunder (no dual air assist or smart board - those two features alone make these machines incredibly user friendly).
2.. Late to the party, don’t own one yet, but two things sold me, first was the fact, mentioned many times, Brian is always here. Always.
Two, watched one of their vids showing off a machine. They took the panel off, and it was glorious. The wiring is so clean, tidy and LABELED to make it easier for you n the techs to work things thru. When a company’s unit look better wired than the Mars rover, you know there’s a lot of QA and QC
