If your focuser is not listed on ZWO EAF detail page, you can follow this methods,

  1. Check this list,
  2. If this list does not include your focuser, you can check the mechanical drawing on ZWO EAF detial page and this guide.ZWO If our EAF is right for your Focuser.pdf
  3. You can join ZWO Facebook Group-ZWO ASI Cameras, and search your focuser to see if there is any other group member has connected this focuser with EAF.

If your focuser is comfirmed compatible with EAF but we did not include in this list, welcome to contact us and we will add this focuser into the list. Thank you for your contribution.:)

The following（green marked） focusers support an EAF with provision of some additional fittings:（Officially confirmed by Explore Scientific）

ES 2-inch Crayford Focusers
User will need to supply several screws – parts required are: M4 x 0.7 x 16mm.

ES 2-inch Rack and Pinion Focusers
User will need to supply additional screws on this model, they will require: M4 x 0.7 x 25mm.

ES 2.5-inch Hex Rack and Pinion Focusers
User will need to supply several screws to install the EAF. They will require: M4 x 0.7 x 25mm.

ES 2-inch Crayford Focuser fitted to ES Comet Hunter
Due to the design this model is only able to use one fixing point with the standard bracket. The user will also require some additional parts. These are: M4 x 0.7 X 16mm.
I have provided pictures of the fitting hole that does line up.Additionally, a user could adapt the bracket themselves to fitother holes on the focuser body.

There are several telescopes that we could not attach the EAF to, but this is due to the physical design of the focuser versus issues with the bracket or supplied parts.
Fitting an EAF to the 165mm, 140mm and 115mm FPL53 models is not recommended unless the customer wants to physically modify the focusers as the design of the focuser is incompatible with EAF. （This action is not supported by ES and voids warranty.
